Malapascua is a tiny island off the Northern tip of Cebu. Getting there from Cebu City will take you a five to six hours of travel. Most of Malapascua island revolves around Bounty beach, the main beach in Malapascua. Here you'll find most resorts, restaurants, dive shops and bars. As soon as you arrive in Malapascua there are people that will greet you at the boat. They'll take you to resorts that they get the best commissions and sometimes they'll even tell you some of the resorts are fully booked when they're not.
In Eastern side of Bounty beach is Mike's Beach Cottages, rooms comes with TV’s and refrigerator, a cheaper fan room is also available. Evolution Dive and Beach Resort, with deluxe aircon or standfan bungalows. Malapascua exotic dive and Beach Resort, which has its own restaurant dive shop has standard airconditioned rooms right up to super deluxe aircon room. Dano Beach Resort, it offers simple beach cottages. Malapascua Legend Water Sports and Resort has a huge pool the closest you'll get to luxury in Malapascua. Hippocampus Beach Resort, the most expensive rooms been at the beach front, at the back are the standard fan rooms .
The standard fan rooms of Ocean Vida has some nice rooms facing out onto the beach. They also have some garden view rooms as well at the back. HPC or also known as Sunset Beach Resort has cottages and two duplex rooms. Sunsplash Resort which is a bit back from the beach and it also has a nice little restaurant and bar which has a nice set up, puts up some chairs and tables out on the beachfront. Cocobana Resort which has lots of cottages, some with sea view and got rooms with TV, fan, and also airconditioned rooms. Malapascua Bluewater Resort which has rooms in its main building and also has some cottages as well and a beach bar. At the edge of Bounty beach is Blue Corals the rooms on the eastern side get a nice view of the sunset, and have both fan and airconditioned rooms. Few minutes walk from Bounty beach is Logon's Beach Resort which has some great views over the ocean it offers very simple basic accommodation. In Logon Beach Resort you have the white sand bungalows pretty simple and basic cottages overlooking the ocean
Next is Tepanee BeachResort, which has the same private beach, rooms are higher standard than the next door Logon Beach Resort but you don't quite get his foot views. Kokays Maldito Dive Resort which has some really nice rooms, check their restaurant which offers mouth watering native delicacies. Then we have the resorts that are behind Bounty beach it’s only a matter of minutes walk from Bounty beach. Slam’sGarden Dive Resort has some newish type rooms fan or airconditioned room, set in a garden setting.
Bb’s Resorts offers some affordable budget rooms and five cottages just behind Oscars. Only about one minute walk to the Bounty beach some budget rooms are available there. Ging Ging restaurant has a couple of rooms that are available on top of the restaurant they are very basic and simple. MG Matterhorn offers a few rooms that are quite cheap and of good value. Hideaway Resort has a couple of cottages for rent. Celtis Resort has a couple of clean, modern rooms. Malapascua Garden Resort is a newly opened resort with some clean modern rooms. Hiltey’s Hideout has some new good rooms . La Isla Bonita Cottages located just behind ocean Vida Resort is being run by La Isla Bonita restaurant.
Mr Kwiiz, which is just behind Evolution is popular with locals, the rooms are very basic. Purple Snapper resort has cheap backpackers dorm type accommodation, and then up to airconditioned rooms it also has a swimming pool and restaurant. Past Logon town is the Moonlight Resort it's a bit farther away from the beach but still walking distance. Then this Mangrove OrientalBed and Breakfast Resort, it has the same private beach, room staff and budget cottages up to more stylish bungalow, and about 10 to 15 minute walk from Bounty beach is Bantigue Cove Beach Resort, located in the north of Malapascua situated in a secluded cove, probably suited more to two couples to be isolated from Bounty Beach.
