The City of Tagaytay is known for its cool and invigorating climate that draws
not only local tourists but foreign travelers as well. Located at Cavite's highest
point - 2,500 feet above sea level - Tagaytay enjoys an average temperature
of 22.7 degrees celcius. It is also known to an enormous natural viewing deck
of Taal Volcano - picturesquely set in the middle of Lake Taal.

Ming's Garden Center And Coffee Shop
Owned by former first lady Ms. Ming Ramos - located at the boundary of Silang and
Tagaytay. This garden is decked with colorful pinwheels and is a natural sanctuary
attracting colorful butterflies. Aside from plants the center also sells furniture and
souvenir items. The Coffe Shop's specialties are the kare-kare buntot (oxtail in
peanut sauce) and the beef pot roast with mushroom gravy, while the choco-banana
walnut cake is their best-selling desert.
The Peoples Park In The Sky
For the best view of Taal Volacano and Lake Taal, as well as three other bodies of
water: Balayan Bay,Laguna de Bay and even Manila Bay towards the north, you can
go to Peoples Park in the sky - the highest point in Tagaytay.The Peoples Park in the Sky,
formerly called the Palace in the Sky, was constructed by Pres. Marcos for the state
visit of then US President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy. However the trip was
cancelled and the palace was never completed. Today the park is open for public
viewing.
Picnic Grove
Close to the People's park is another park - the Picnic Grove, built by The Department
of Tourism and the Philippine Tourism Authority where you can rent cottages for an
overnight stay and go horseback riding.

For Tagaytay souvenir and decorative items you can visit Cornerstone Pottery Arts

If you crave for breakfast from lunch time onwards, Breakfast at Antonio's serves large

that include one of their best sellers - the half-pound Antonio's house burger. Another
popular meal is the corned beef and eggs served with horseradish and sauerkraut.
